General Description:
Bladder snails are small, active scavengers that clean up excess food and algae. They reproduce quickly, making them excellent for cycling tanks and maintaining biofilm, but populations stay stable with controlled feeding.
Ease of Care: Easy
Water Parameters:
• Temperature: 18–28°C
• pH: 6.5–8.0
• GH/KH: Medium to hard water
Ideal Conditions:
• Planted tanks
• Gentle to moderate flow
• Great for low-tech aquariums
• Beneficial for keeping surfaces clean and supporting shrimp tanks. They cannot catch or kill shrimplets - shrimplets are too quick
