Panda Corys are peaceful, playful little bottom-dwellers with cute panda-like eye patches, bringing a charming look to any community tank.

Fun Panda fact: Pandas stay on the smaller side, reaching only about 4,5-5cm when fully grown.  Even though they are slightly smaller species, I still wouldn't recommend keeping them in a small tank. A larger tank footprint keeps them far happier and healthier.

Important Cory fact:
These fish must be kept in groups of the same species, as they naturally live in large shoals in the wild. I recommend a minimum of six of one kind, as smaller mixed groups don't give them the security they need. I have seen people keep just three Cory's, and they often fade away one by one from stress. Proper same-species groups make them feel safe, confident, and active, allowing them to truly thrive.

Diet:
A variety of good-quality fish food will work perfectly, as long as they sink and actually reach your corys at the bottom.

  • Sinking pellets (the pellet I personally recommend is DENNERLE Cookies - special menu)
  • Frozen foods
  • Baby brine shrimp
  • Occasional vegetable-based foods
  • Grindal worms. Feeding these wiggly worms will make your corys feel like they're foraging freely in nature - it's their favourite treat and brings out their happiest, most natural behaviour.  You can even get your own Grindal worm culture right here in my store.

Water Conditions:
• 20–26°C
• pH 6.0–7.5
• Soft water is ideal
