Lemon Blue Eye Bristlenose Pleco

A hardy and vibrant Ancistrus variety with a striking yellow colouring. Ideal for beginners and experienced keepers alike. They usually grow to around 10-15cm, and when given enough space, good food, regular water changes, and minimal competition with other Ancistrus, they really thrive and show off their best size.

• 23–28°C
• pH 6.5–7.5
• Soft–medium hardness

Diet
Blanched vegetables (baby marrow is essential), cucumber, spinach, broccoli, cooked gem squash shells, green beans, algae wafers, and occasional protein foods.

Additional Information
Very effective algae grazers. Requires driftwood for digestion and caves for resting.

You can add a pleco cave to make them feel more at home - the males especially love having a cave to claim as their own, where they can feel comfortable, secure, and relaxed.
