Corkscrew Vallisneria (Vallisneria tortifolia)

Corkscrew Val is a rare and highly sought-after plant, which is why it is priced at R40 per plant. Each piece will be a healthy, well-established specimen with a strong root system, ready to thrive in your aquarium.

A unique Vallisneria with twisted, vibrant green leaves that will instantly brighten the whole tank. Unlike the regular Jungle Val, which can grow very tall, the Corkscrew variant reaches a height of about 20-25cm. It serves as a great hiding spot for shrimp and nano fish. Stunning in any aquarium!

Ease of Care: It isn't fussy - it just wants a deep, nutrient-rich sand bed to wiggle its roots into. 
Light Level: Low to moderate
CO₂ Requirements: Not required, but will benefit

• Temperature: 20–28°C
• pH: 6.5–8.0
• GH/KH: Medium to hard preferred
