They are a favourite for Bristlenose plecos, Corydoras, dwarf Cichilds, Kuhli loaches and shrimp who love using them as a quiet place to rest and retreat from the light. Plecos and dwarf cichlids may even claim them as their home, making them an ideal spot for breeding and raising a family.
Why I love them: They look natural in the aquarium and blend beautifully with wood, plants, and hardscape. They also make an excellent base for moss and small Java fern to grow on.
