Subwassertang (Lomariopsis cf. lineata)
WAS R50, NOW R40
Each portion is a full teacup-sized clump
Subwassertang is a dark green plant with soft, leafy, tangled layers that remind me of seaweed. It doesn't need planting, just like moss. Shrimp graze happily on the micro-life it grows, fry use it as the perfect nursery, and fish enjoy the soft, natural feel it adds to the aquarium. Just place it anywhere - no fuss, no planting, no drama.
Ease of Care: Ultra-low maintenance - it requires no special care.
Light Level: I have found it is the happiest in gentle, shaded spots of the tank.
CO₂ Requirements: Not required
Water Parameters:
• Temperature: 20–28°C
• pH: 5.5–7.5
• GH/KH: Soft to medium
Flow/Filtration: Keep it out of direct flow, or it will fluff apart into many little bits that can clutter the tank.
