Red Cherry Shrimp are one of the most popular freshwater shrimp due to their bright red colour, peaceful nature, and ease of care. They add vibrant colour to planted tanks and help keep the aquarium clean by grazing on algae and biofilm.

Water Conditions:
• Temperature: 20–26°C
• pH: 6.5–7.5
• GH: 6–8
• KH: 2–6
• Prefer stable, clean, cycled tanks

Diet:

• A variety of good-quality fish foods is fine for Neocaridina shrimp, but make sure they're truly high quality. If you only feed these, the cheapest options usually don't offer the nutrition shrimp need
• Shrimp pellets and algae wafers 
• Soft algae and biofilm products like: Bacter AE
• Snow Powder from Nature Boys 
• They enjoy a wide variety of vegetables such as baby marrow, spinach, green beans, pumpkin, broccoli, carrot, butternut, sweet potato, beetroot and lettuce. All vegetables should be lightly blanched so they are soft enough to graze on.

Helpful Information
• Best kept in groups of 8+
• Avoid copper-based medications
• Thrive in planted tanks with moss and hiding spots
• The red colour deepens with a good diet and stable water parameters
