Lemon Blue Eye Bristlenose – Confirmed Young Males
💛 These young shortfin Lemon Blue Eye Bristlenose Plecos are confirmed males, with their beautiful bristles already developing.
Healthy, active and full of character, they have a striking yellow colouring, impressive fins and distinctive bristles that will become even more pronounced as they mature.
A hardy variety of Ancistrus, they’re a wonderful addition for beginners and experienced fishkeepers alike. They help keep aquarium surfaces clean by grazing on algae and will bring plenty of personality to your tank.
They typically grow to around 10–15 cm and thrive with enough space, a varied diet, regular water changes and minimal competition from other Ancistrus males.
Bright, beautiful and full of character — these boys are ready to shine!
Water Conditions
• 23–28°C
• pH 6.5–7.5

Blanched vegetables (baby marrow is essential), cucumber, spinach, broccoli, cooked gem squash shells, green beans, algae wafers, and occasional protein foods.
Additional Information
Very effective algae grazers. Requires driftwood for digestion and caves for resting.
You can add a pleco cave to make them feel more at home - the males especially love having a cave to claim as their own, where they can feel comfortable, secure, and relaxed.
