Black lava rock is a fantastic way to create a natural-looking aquarium. Its rugged texture adds depth and contrast, making plants and fish stand out beautifully.

Thanks to its highly porous structure, lava rock provides an excellent surface for beneficial bacteria to colonise, helping to support a healthy, stable aquarium. It's also an ideal choice for attaching epiphytic plants such as Java Fern, Anubias, and Bucephalandra, whose roots readily anchor to the rock over time.
