A simple, natural way to give your fish a safe little place to hide, rest and explore.

These half terracotta pots in a grayish colour make an easy aquarium cave without taking up too much space. Fish can shelter underneath while still being visible through the open front — giving your fish a sense of security while allowing you to enjoy watching them.

Corydoras especially seem to love them! In my own tanks, I often find my Corydoras gathering underneath the pots to rest and sleep, sometimes all together in a little group.

The open-ended design allows water to flow through the cave, helping to avoid stagnant areas and allowing the aquarium to stay cleaner, while still providing a sheltered space where fish can feel secure.

Fish-friendly finish: The edges are carefully smoothed with sandpaper to remove sharp or rough areas, making them safer for your fish to swim in and out of.

Easy to place the cave in the aquarium and they are also easy to remove or reposition whenever you rearrange your aquarium.

A tip: For a more natural look, place a piece of driftwood over the top with a Epiphyte plant attached to the wood or any type of moss. This helps the pot blend beautifully into the aquarium while creating an even more sheltered hiding spot.
