Chocolate Bristlenose Pleco – Shortfin (Ancistrus sp.) 4-5cm and larger
General Description
Chocolate Bristlenose Plecos display warm brown colouration with flecks of gold. The shortfin variety is hardy, easy to keep, and ideal for planted community tanks. They grow to an average of about 10-15 cm as adults. In my experience, they grow larger in bigger tanks.

• Needs driftwood and shelter
Diet
Blanched baby marrow, cucumber, spinach, broccoli, cooked gem squash shells, algae wafers, and some protein food.
Additional Information
Great natural cleaners. Provide plenty of hiding spots to reduce stress.
You can add a pleco cave to make them feel more at home - the males especially love having a cave to claim as their own, where they can feel comfortable, secure, and relaxed.
